Once the story board had been finalised, the long process of modeling, texturing and lighting began. This involved the detailed three dimensional creation of the ship, the harbour, the ocean, the rescue helicopter and the characters. The large scale of this project required the use of several software suites working in parallel. 3D Studio Max provided the modeling, animating and rendering capabilities, whilst Photoshop was used for texture creation. The final video and audio compilation was realised through Adobe Premiere, where all the independently rendered tracks were layered together. |
