Logo Design Project |

This project involved the redesigning of an existing company logo. Krysteline group Ltd is a pioneering company in glass reprocessing, and wanted their logo reworked to make reference to this industry. The brief was to match the existing logo outline, but extrude it into a three dimensional object, and develop a reflective, shiny, coloured glass surface finish. |

Developing the new model was achieved by using an image of their existing logo as a template, over which the new logo mesh was created. Further refinement was then implemented to improve the rounded appearance of text, making a visual reference to the sharp free processing techniques invented by the company. |
Once the new mesh had been created and approved, work began on developing the surface finish. Introducing slight reflectivity and specular highlighting resulted in a subtle colour gradient that complemented the new design. The brief also required the creation of several variants of the final logo design, including a flat variant, a rotating logo animation and a very high resolution file for a large exterior sign. |
